I am married to Verlie Colvin and have two sons. I also have two beautiful grandchildren whom I am very proud of. I live on Long Creek and enjoy bookkeeping for my husband and gardening.
I graduated from Mars Hill College in 1983 with a Bachlor of Arts in Business Education and Religion. I started teaching as an assistant at Stecoah School and proceeded to get my master degree. I transfered to Robbinsville Elementary School, received my certification to teach children from Birth through Kindergarten and have stayed for over 20 years. I love this age group and I throughly enjoy teaching preschool children.
